Vietnam quickly reacts to COVID-19 outbreak in South Korea

The recent reports have shown the COVID-19 is spreading fast in South Korea. In a quick response, Vietnam implements strict actions to control travel flow from this country.

Health declaration is now required for anyone coming from South Korea. Also, those with symptoms like high fever, coughing and breathing difficulties will be put under quarantine.

Several flight routes from/to Daegu, the center of the epidemic in South Korea, to Vietnam cities, have been temporarily closed. 80 passengers from Daegu to Danang city today were all quarantined for the safety of the community.

Up to date, Vietnam has 16 COVID-19 infected patients, among which 15 were discharged from the hospitals and the last patient tested negative
