A Myanmar Airline Will Start Flying to Hanoi and HCMC Next Week

Myanmar Airways International intends to launch daily flights to Vietnam from Yangon to Hanoi and HCMC starting the following week. The private airline announced on its website that it would start operating two weekly flights between Yangon and Hanoi on September 19.

The cost of a person's ticket on the route starts at $187. On September 22, flights to HCMC would start leaving on a Thursday. Return airfares begin at $348 USD.

After more than two years, Myanmar permitted the resumption of international passenger flights on April 17. On March 15, Vietnam reinstated its pre-pandemic e-visa and visa exemption policy and permitted admission without a quarantine.
